What can I post a thread about?

Anything that doesn’t violate any of the policies or Terms of Service.

 

How do I close a thread?

Short answer, you can’t. However, you can request that a thread you’ve started be closed by contacting help@napalmriot.com and providing a good reason for the request.

 

Where do I report threads that might violate the etiquette policy?

To report etiquette violations on the forums, send an email containing the thread link to help@napalmriot.com and we’ll deal with it as soon as we can. Don't forget to tell us who you are on Napalm.

 

How do I add comments?

Adding comments couldn’t be easier. Everywhere you can comment there’s a large “Add Comment” button. If you want to reply directly to a comment, then just click the “Reply” link and away you go.

 

Can I delete comments on any of my pages or submissions?

Short answer, no. The reason being that were someone to post something malicious and manage to delete the comment or post before any staff get a chance to have a look at it, it would be a very difficult situation to deal with. The idea of deleting posts is an understandable one, but not one that can be dealt with in a manner that suits everyone.

 

I see people using emoticons, where do I find out what the codes are?

The Formatting Guide contains examples of the current emoticons. It also lists shortcuts for linking to user names, forum posts, pictures and so forth.
